"Zomato has teamed up with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to introduce 'Zomato - Food Delivery in Trains'. This new service aims to make train journeys more enjoyable by letting passengers order a variety of meals right to their seats.

The service is now available in 88 cities, with 1 million orders already delivered to passengers at 100 different stations.

Rakesh Ranjan, Zomato’s CEO of Food Delivery, expressed excitement about the partnership. He believes it will enhance the travel experience for millions of people across India, making train journeys more convenient and enjoyable.

With 'Zomato - Food Delivery in Trains', passengers can order food whether they’re waiting at the station or already on the train. To place an order, users can open the Zomato app and search for 'train' or update their location if they are at the station. By entering their PNR (Passenger Name Record) number, the app will automatically retrieve their train and seat details, ensuring that their food is delivered correctly.

The service also adjusts for train delays, tracking arrival times to ensure food is delivered promptly. Passengers can even choose to pick up their orders from designated stations if they prefer."
